SUMMARY
Research with residents to inform an organisation’s strategy in relation to sustainability and green finance:
1,610 survey responses were received from residents across the three islands. Respondents shared their views / experiences of climate change, green finance and energy-saving home improvements.
Focus groups were then conducted to build on the survey findings. The discussions covered the decision-making process of choosing to go ahead with energy saving home improvements, including financing.
The insights gained from both phases informed the development of a green financing product, amongst other strategic decisions.
