SUMMARY
Research into Guernsey’s home broadband services to supplement and inform a review into the island’s broadband market.
Island Global Research sought feedback from Guernsey residents about home broadband services on behalf of the Guernsey Competition and Regulatory Authority. 610 residents took part in an online survey asking for their experience, levels of satisfaction and preferences regarding local broadband services. Findings from the survey were further explored in focus groups aimed to understand consumer considerations when it comes to choosing a home broadband service and identify any perceived barriers when it comes to switching provider.
The research was commissioned by the Guernsey Competition and Regulatory Authority and findings are being used within a wider review of the broadband market in Guernsey.
