Island Global Research were commissioned to independently run three focus groups relating to the States of Guernsey’s energy policy. The sessions were iterative – the first was an exploratory session reflecting feedback already received by the States, the second was a problem solving session intended to generate ideas, and the third was a feedback session generating reactions and suggestions to content drafted so far in preparation of the Draft Energy Policy.

Topics covered included the energy trilemma, the roles of different stakeholders, priorities for future policy, reactions to the first edit of an animated video about issues relating to energy policy, and views on policy statements drafted so far.
