SUMMARY

We would like to invite residents of Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar to share their views in our latest survey which focuses on two topical issues:

• Body image, weight loss and cosmetic surgery
• Masculinity, misogyny and misandry

We are interested in understanding how islanders feel about these topics, including the way in which these topics are represented in the media and online.

We appreciate that people will have different views, the topics are broad, and we could ask a wide range of questions. To keep the survey short, we have focused on selected questions – in many cases phrased as they have been asked in the UK so we can see how local attitudes compare to the mainland.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. It is one of our own surveys, is open to all residents aged 16 and over, and the results will be shared with the community.
