SUMMARY
This survey is about palliative and end of life care and is being undertaken on behalf of the Palliative & End of Life Care Partnership Group, which includes representatives from the States of Guernsey, health care providers, including GPs, and Les Bourgs hospice and care homes.
The survey is being undertaken to understand the views and experiences of residents to inform a strategy for palliative and end of life care across the Bailiwick and the services available in the future. Their aim is to ensure that every individual receives the right support at the right time and in the right place in a compassionate, coordinated and responsive manner.
Open to residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey aged 16+. This is an important and sensitive topic and many of us will be affected by the topics covered in this survey. We would encourage to complete the survey regardless of how informed you are about the issues. We also understand this is a deeply personal subject, and there may be some questions you don’t feel comfortable answering. Where this is the case, please choose “prefer not to say” or skip the question.
Please note: this survey does not ask for your views about changing the law to allow assisted dying.
If you have any questions or need any assistance to complete this survey, please contact Island Global Research on 01481 716227 / info@islandglobalresearch.com. For example, we can supply paper copies of the survey for self-completion or arrange a time to administer the survey over the telephone.
