SUMMARY
Insights into dairy consumption and preferences to inform future business decisions:
2391 residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey completed the 2024 Guernsey Dairy survey. This is 4.5% of the eligible adult population.
The survey looked into local consumption of milk and dairy products, as well as eliciting views about Guernsey Dairy and the local dairy farming industry. Insights feeding into product development included how and why milk consumption has changed, views on if milk packaging should be updated, and the potential demand for new products.
The results are presented alongside those from a survey conducted in 2019, where comparable.
Survey weights for age and gender have been applied to present results which are representative of the local population.
